Mafe Muñoz is a Colombian Architect and Designer based in Barcelona since 2019.
In 2005 she started her professional Career as an Art Director in Advertising and Commercials, having initially worked for 3 years as a Construction Coordinator designing and Building stands for exhibitions and large-scale events in different cities of Colombia. These projects led to work as a Construction Coordinator in Feature Films and Television Drama highlighting her talent and passion for the visual arts.
From that point her Professional career took off as an Art Director with her involvement in various Feature Films, Drama and Entertainment Shows such as: "The suicide squad", "American Made", "Mile 22", "Triple Frontier", "Netflix's Narcos 1st Season", "Amazon Prime's Jack Ryan 2nd Season", "The lost City" and more recently "The Mother" and "Road House".
These projects allowed her to engage with some of the most important American and European Producers, Directors and Production Designers in the industry.
This valuable experience as an Art Director gave her the opportunity to take on the role of Production Designer in Foreign and Local Feature Films and tv series such as "Operación Jaque", "El Resquicio", "Sniper Ultimate Kill" , "Palabra de Ladrón", expanding her career within the Art Department.
She also has been recognised for her work as a Production Designer having been nominated for a 2012 India Catalina Award at the FICCI (Cartagena International Film Festival) for Paraiso Picture's TV movie "Operación Jaque" and again in 2017 for her work as Art Director in the Entertainment Show "Grandes Chicos".
